MFI is a fast-growing multi-family flooring company based in Kent, WA. We complete over 1,000 jobs each month for apartment communities throughout the Seattle area. Our team is known for speed, reliability, and high-quality work—and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Installation Coordinator to help keep it that way.
Position Overview
This role supports the day-to-day operations of our installation team. You’ll work closely with our Installation Supervisor to help schedule jobs, coordinate with crews, and communicate clearly with everyone involved to ensure projects run smoothly.
This job is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, follows through, and communicates well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Communication & Coordination
Respond to phone calls, texts, and emails from installers and sales reps
Help troubleshoot job-site issues, including access, scheduling, or material concerns
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support teams in the field
Documentation & Job Tracking
Keep accurate, detailed notes on each job
Make sure all updates are relayed clearly to installers and sales
Scheduling Support
Assist with matching installers to jobs based on skills and availability
Help maintain and adjust the daily and weekly job schedule
Subcontractor Compliance
Track and organize installer documentation (licenses, insurance, etc.)
Ensure files are complete, current, and compliant
Systems & Tools
Use internal software to schedule jobs, manage data, and track job progress
Basic computer skills required—we’ll provide full training on our systems
What We’re Looking For
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Strong communicator who is organized and detail-oriented
Able to stay calm and focused under pressure
Comfortable working as part of a team but confident owning your responsibilities
Experience in flooring or construction is a plus—but not required
