Position Overview: The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading and optimizing the talent acquisition strategy for the organization. This role involves overseeing the recruitment process, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in recruitment, strong leadership skills, and a passion for building diverse and high-performing teams. The Director of Talent Acquisition will report directly to the firm's Chief Human Relations Officer.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Process Management:
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Develop and maintain recruitment policies and best practices to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.
- Conduct compensation analysis.
- Coordinate with Marketing to create uniform, comprehensive, compelling job postings/descriptions to be used as a template for future job postings.
- Oversee Summer Associate/Law Clerk recruitment across offices.
- Attend major recruitment events (i.e., Top Gun at Baylor).
- Create and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Analyze market trends and workforce data to inform recruitment strategies.
- Identify and implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent.
- Enhance the company’s employer brand through effective marketing and outreach initiatives.
- Determine how to best maximize MG M’s use of LinkedIn to boost recruitment efforts while being mindful of cost.
- Coordinate with Marketing to enhance the Firm’s presence/brand across social media platforms, website and job posting sites to attract top talent.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process to ensure a diverse candidate pool.
- Partner with various departments to promote inclusive hiring practices.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on talent market trends and competitive analysis.
- Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make informed decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, challenges, and achievements for senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful recruitment strategies.
- Strong understanding of current labor market trends and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
