The Financial Reporting Manager will assure timely and accurate financial reporting and coordinate audits as required by lender covenants; oversee Accounting Staff; assure internal and budgetary controls are adhered to; understand, document, maintain and train others, regarding MG Accounting Policies and Procedure; and assist Director of Accounting, Accounting department, Investments department and Operations department in achieving company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business / Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant / Candidate
- Minimum two years' accounting experience, preferably in public accounting environment
- Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting
- Experienced at tracking and analyzing costs and budgets
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel. Yardi or similar accounting software experience a plus
- Proficient at managing process and personnel.
- Ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize workload.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Strong attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
California pay range
110,000-$130,000 USD
