What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Sales Consultant position at MGC Roofing?
MGC Roofing and Construction is looking for an ambitious, results-driven and career oriented commercial service sales representative to actively seek out and engage potential commercial roofing clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell roofing products/services to prospective accounts
- Achieve agreed upon monthly sales & revenue goals
- Utilize an account based, consultative approach to determine correct requirements and qualify specific opportunities
- Establish, nurture, and grow direct customer relationships (owners, asset managers, property managers, facility managers, building engineers, roof consultants)
- Reach out to customer leads through pipeline development, cold calling as wells as maintaining relationships with established accounts
- Update SalesForce CRM and Sales opportunity pipeline daily
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Complete and adopt in-house STG Sales Accelerator training
- Attend weekly sales meetings, training events and mandatory Tuesday STG coaching calls.
- Represent the MGC Vision, Mission and Values - Promote the company brand in the marketplace
- Achieve all minimum average sales based activities KPI's & accurately report each Monday
- Grow in technical knowledge - both industry-general and project-specific
- Execute daily activities to assure your sales pipeline has adequate opportunities to meet sales goal
Skills
- Proven work experience as a sales representative with willingness to learn
- Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Teams
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Must be comfortable getting on the roof to inspect
- We will provide training for the right candidate
Compensation: $100,000.00 per year (mix of base salary plus commission)
