Description
Looking for an experienced production Planner to join our team! Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute production schedules that align with customer requirements and production goals! This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and scheduling methodologies to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop plans and production schedules that meet customer requirements and production targets.
- Creates manufacturing process plans/routers.
- Creates and releases print packages and material requests.
- Communicates project status and progress to management, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for releasing production orders on time.
- Communicates with internal departments to maintain the flow of materials.
- Maintains and analyzes production data, including production rates, materials usage, and labor hours to identify areas for improvement and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Monitors and maintains inventory levels and updates in MRP database.
- Ensures all work is performed in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
- Experience in lot sizing, material planning, and production scheduling.
- Experience working with bills of material (BOMs) and creating travelers/work instructions.
- Experience working with 3D models preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing software, Outlook, Zoom, MRP databases, and general computer applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Full-time Shifts: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:00am-4:30pm (every other Friday off)
Hourly Pay Range(s): Planner I $20.00 - $26.50 / Planner II $26.50 - $33.50

Physical Demands: Job duties are mainly performed in a temperature-controlled office environment with some exposure to an open warehouse environment with a wider range of temperature variation and exposure to noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals.
- Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers.
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Occasional periods of standing, walking, bending and driving.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 20 pounds (And rarely up to 50).
ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The candidate must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR.
