Job Summary
A Major Cosmetics and Skin Care Products Manufacturing Company is seeking a Jr Buyer for a Direct Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning for food, nutraceuticals, or cosmetics.
Responsibilities
- Support the production planning process to ensure efficient workflow, timely product delivery, and optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure materials are available to meet production goals.
- Process initiated change controls, including setting up or revising Bills of Materials within the ERP system.
- Assist Planning Manager and Sr. by verifying labor hours, machine hours and material usage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
