How will you make an impact?

Become part of the Project Management Office (PMO), aiding, and supporting Project and Program Managers leading efforts to achieve transformational outcomes across the MGIC organization. Grow through MGIC’s internship program values of communication, high expectations, accountability, responsibility, teamwork, exposure to business and real-world experience.

Learn about the workings of a PMO and business through hands-on experiences while working alongside members of the MGIC team utilizing solutions, practices, and methodologies such as SDLC, Service Now, JIRA, and Prosci Change Management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support the control and administration activities performed by members of the PMO
• Monitor and support project standards, approaches, and policies
• Assist with development of PMO materials, reporting, and user training
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Document and improve processes
  
  

Do you have what it takes?

• Hours: Summer is full time, approximately 37.5 per week.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, MIS or related degree. Preferably with 2 or more semesters before graduation.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative, think outside the box
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence people
• Build relationships and work successfully across teams
• Take initiative and possess creativity
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to execute in a team environment and on own initiative
