Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our gardens, landscapes, and grounds. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong knowledge of plants, irrigation as well as various gardening techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular garden maintenance tasks such as watering, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing- Container planting
- Plant and transplant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery
- Assist in the design and implementation of new garden layouts or landscape projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient groundskeeping and lawn care
Requirements:
-Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
- Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of plant care, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control
- Familiarity with various hand tools and used in gardening
- Strong understanding of different gardening techniques for different types of plants (e.g., flowers, shrubs, trees)
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
