We are women owned and operated and are looking for the perfect individual to join our team!
Position Details
- Job Title: Seasonal Part-Time Gardener
- Location: Biddeford Pool
- Schedule: 2-3 days (15-25 hours) per week
- Pay: Competitive pay based on experience and work ethic.
- Season: April 1st through mid November (Weather dependent)
Duties
- Cultivate and maintain various types of plants in residential gardens.
- Watering containers and newly installed plants.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and maintaining landscapes.
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance activities including weeding, edging, pruning and mulching.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new garden layouts or landscaping projects.
- Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall groundskeeping goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- A passion for working outdoors and a commitment to maintaining high standards of garden care.
- Attention to detail and a passion for plants.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
