THE JOB:
The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager lead and support the restaurant team. They work with the Assistant Manager and staff to make sure everything runs smoothly and meets MGM standards. Their job includes managing the team, handling schedules and training, keeping the restaurant in good shape, and ensuring guests have a great experience. They also help reach business goals and follow company rules.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and customer service, to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and profitably. They help the General Manager develop and execute plans to meet business goals.
- They also handle hiring, training, and team development to create a positive and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- The manager regularly interacts with guests to ensure a great dining experience, addresses any complaints, and works closely with the kitchen team for seamless service. They enforce restaurant policies, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and ensure all staff complete necessary training.
- Additionally, they stay knowledgeable about menu items and food and beverage offerings while handling any other duties as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of experience in Senior Leadership
- Previous experience working in Bar Management
- Ability to be face to face with guest and staff alike
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum - Maximum
$60,700.00 - $101,200.00Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan.Eligible employees have the opportunity to participate in medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans as well as 401(k) and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
