THE JOB:
The Table Games Dealer Trainee Program at MGM Springfield offers a valuable opportunity to learn dealer gaming skills from a leading entertainment and gaming company, with the potential for a future position as a Table Games Dealer. Trainees will focus on mastering the art of dealing games while providing exceptional guest service, all while adhering to relevant legal regulations and company policies.
ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAM
Starting MAY 5, 2025
- 10 - Week program
- Monday - Friday 11 AM - 5 PM
- You will learn three table games: Blackjack, Baccarat and Carnival
- MGM Resorts Service Training
THE STARTING RATE: $15.00 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Training/playing the act of dealing several with game types; including: Blackjack, Baccarat and Carnival
- Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions; accurately exchanges cash or markers for chips.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be18 years of age
- Ability to pass a basic math test.
- Ability to attend all training classes
- If placed into a Dealer role, ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
