THE JOB:
Step into a role where exceptional service meets timeless comfort food. As a Food Server at The Henry, you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable dining experiences by taking and delivering customer orders, maintaining tables, ensuring guest satisfaction, and finalizing checks with accuracy and efficiency. This position also involves performing side work, general cleaning, and preparing assigned stations to ensure seamless service.
THE STARTING RATE: 17.5629 plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages
Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach
Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
At least two years Food Server experience within a full-service dining establishment
Knowledge of Infogenesis Point-of-Sale (POS) system or similar POS system
Proficient in carrying drink trays and freehand dish disbursement
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
Experience in similar resort setting
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
