As a Vdara Lounge Server, your primary responsibility is to create a memorable guest experience by promptly taking and delivering drink orders while providing beverage and bussing services. THE STARTING RATE: $13.4109 plus tips
The Day-to-day
- Perform opening side duties including folding/stacking cocktail napkins, stocking swizzle sticks, straws, matches, lining cocktail trays, stocking glassware, and replenishing supply cabinets
- Ensure cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas, addressing any issues promptly
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of available liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections offered on the casino floor
- Familiarity with designated glassware and appropriate garnishes for each drink served
- Communicate orders accurately to the Bartender through the system and confirm transmission
- Demonstrate familiarity with Hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and activities to effectively address guest inquiries
- Address guest complaints within the scope of authority, escalating to management when necessary
- At least six months experience in cocktail service or food service in high volume setting
- Knowledgeable of various liquors, wines, and spirits
- Proficient in using computers and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
- Previous experience handling Group Dining Orders (GEOs)
- Background in a similar resort setting
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
