THE JOB:
As a Master Cook for Conventions & Banquets, you will bring your expertise to lead culinary teams and ensure exceptional food preparation for large-scale events. You'll be responsible for crafting a variety of cuisines, managing high-volume service, and mentoring cooks to deliver seamless dining experiences. This is a dynamic leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to excellence in every dish.
THE STARTING RATE: $26.1012 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Leading Cook teams, ensuring tasks are delegated and completed efficiently.
- Prepare a diverse range of cuisines.
- Ensure the quality, flavor, and presentation of dishes through tasting and evaluation.
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper food storage and temperature control.
- Assist in executing weekly lunch menus and convention meals for high-volume events.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- 1 years of prior relevant experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.
