The Job
As a Security Officer, you will act as a visible presence to deter potential threats, respond swiftly to emergencies, and manage situations involving violence or life safety risks. This role calls for specialized training, physical preparedness, and a commitment to following property policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
THE STARTING RATE: $18.50
The Day-to-day
- Patrol all areas of the property (including exterior) using company vehicle
- Deliver outstanding service by assisting guests and employees, resolving complaints, and addressing issues professionally and promptly.
- Serve as a first responder, providing critical support during emergency situations.
- Document daily activities and irregularities, including property damage, theft, accidents, or unusual occurrences
- Act as a vital communication hub, relaying essential information, messages, and emergencies via telephones or two-way radios.
- Skilled in operating assigned equipment with precision and care.
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Will have successful completion of our certified Security Officer Academy
- Has a valid driver's license (required)
- Has previous experience in customer service/guest service environment preferred
