THE JOB:
As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, vendors, and leadership to develop engaging, innovative learning solutions. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design, blended learning, and emerging technologies to create dynamic content that enhances performance across the organization.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Develop Engaging Learning Content - Design, build, and implement curriculum using instructor-led, e-learning, and blended learning approaches.
Create Multimedia & Digital Learning Tools - Utilize learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), video production, and interactive media.
Lead Training Needs Analysis - Conduct knowledge and gap analyses to determine the most effective training solutions.
Develop Supporting Materials - Build leader guides, participant manuals, course evaluations, and other instructional assets.
Supervise & Guide Learning Partners - Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality and effectiveness.
Continuously Improve Learning Programs - Gather and analyze feedback to enhance training effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Learning Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6 years of instructional design experience in a corporate or hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and learning theories.
Experience developing multimedia content (audio, video, graphics, interactive learning).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign.
Knowledge of LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
Strong project management and leadership abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
