What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage teams across software development, solution architecture, and data architecture to ensure alignment with MGMA's business objectives and drive technology solutions that support organizational goals.
- Champion the transformation to modern engineering practices, guiding the transition to a scaled agile framework and fostering continuous improvement across your teams.
- Oversee replatforming and rearchitecting legacy systems to meet business needs, ensuring optimal technology performance and ROI.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy and roadmap, aligning them with business priorities while tracking outcomes against KPIs/OKRs.
- Mentor and develop your teams, fostering an environment of growth that enhances both technical expertise and soft skills.
- Lead data architecture initiatives, ensuring robust data governance and optimization of enterprise solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse).
- Oversee secure development practices, including QA/QE, release management, and integration processes.
- Collaborate with business leaders and external partners to ensure technology solutions meet the evolving needs of the organization and deliver measurable results.
- Manage hybrid teams, including FTEs, contractors, and vendors, advising on staffing and scalability, while ensuring strong vendor performance and budget control.
What You’ll Have:
- 10 years of experience in architecture and/or engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field (or equivalent experience). A Master's degree is preferred.
- Deep experience leading teams within a Scaled Agile Development framework, and ideally, guiding technical teams through agile transformation.
- Expertise in software development technologies (.NET, .NET Core, C#, Blazor, ASP.NET, MS SQL) and cloud applications (preferably Azure).
- Proven success in creating and executing technology roadmaps that align with business goals.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring, developing talent, and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks like Zachman, TOGAF, or FEAF is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and secure development practices is essential.
