The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling bankruptcy cases, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13, representing both individuals and businesses. This role involves providing legal counsel, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle bankruptcy cases, including filings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
- Provide legal advice and strategic solutions to clients facing financial distress.
- Represent clients in bankruptcy court hearings, negotiations, and mediations.
- Draft and review bankruptcy petitions, pleadings, and legal documents.
- Stay updated on bankruptcy laws, regulations, and court procedures.
- Collaborate with clients, creditors, and financial institutions to reach favorable resolutions.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar.
- 3 years of experience handling bankruptcy cases.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
