Carpenter/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. This position requires hands-on experience in various carpentry techniques and a willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to complete projects accurately.
• Perform remodeling tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry.
• Lay tile and perform flooring installations with attention to detail and quality.
• Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials.
• Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Experience in remodeling projects with a focus on carpentry techniques.
• basic knowledge of drywall and general construction and painting
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge is beneficial for completing various tasks.
• Skill in tile laying and flooring installation is highly desirable.
• Ability to restore structures effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong construction estimating skills to assist in project planning.
• General maintenance person skills for performing minor repairs as needed.
• Knowledge of roofing techniques is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
