We are looking for a Inside Sales Representative to join our MGP team in Lawrenceburg, IN. This role will be responsible for supporting our Distilling Solutions segment. The Inside Sales Represenative plays a critical role in our sales team by identifying and engaging potential customers and ensuring they are well-prepared for successful sales interactions. This position focuses on validating customer viability, building rapport, and providing comprehensive insights to facilitate the sales process. Through detailed record-keeping and efficient communication, this position will contribute significantly to the growth of our customer base and overall sales performance.

What will you do?

Customer Validation

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers and assess their viability Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and data
  • Contribute to the development of new customer activation strategies and initiatives

Customer Engagement

  • Initiate contact with potential customers through phone calls, emails, and social medial platforms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to understand their needs and preferences
  • Actively listen to customer feedback and provide insights to the sales team
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly call quotas to engage a high volume of potential customers
  • Data and Analysis

  • Compile relevant information and insights on potential customers for the sales team
  • Create customer profiles, including background, preferences, and key decision makers
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that outline customer engagement progress and next steps
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to prioritize outreach efforts
  • Communication and Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales representatives to ensure they are equipped with the necessary information for sales calls
  • Coordinate meetings between potential customers and sales staff when appropriate
  • Participate in sales meetings to share insights and strategies for customer engagement
  • Administrative

  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system of all customer interactions, including calls, emails, and meetings
  • Monitor and report on outreach performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure that all customer data is updated and organized for easy access by the sales team
  • Other duties as assigned
  • What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 2 years experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter and able to excel in a fast-paced environment
