In this position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize our company's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of networking protocols, systems, and technologies, and will be responsible for architecting solutions that ensure seamless, secure, and efficient network performance. The Network Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable, and future-proof network solutions aligned with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance network solutions that meet organizational needs and business objectives.
- Develop and implement network strategies that optimize the performance, reliability, and security of enterprise-level network infrastructures.
- Oversee network architecture implementation, including the selection and deployment of hardware and software systems.
- Perform detailed network assessments to identify performance bottlenecks and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align network architecture with other IT systems and business functions.
- Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to networking.
- Ensure network security through the design and implementation of best practices, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Provide leadership in the network planning process, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in collaboration with technical teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices in network architecture.
- Create documentation for network infrastructure, designs, and system configurations for future reference and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior network engineers and other IT staff in best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Network Architect, with a focus on enterprise-level network infrastructure.
- Must have In-depth knowledge of Cisco and Operational Technology experience.
- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Expertise in network design, cloud infrastructure, and network management tools.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
- Familiarity with data center operations and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network , or similar, are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, or next-gen networking technologies.
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with advanced network monitoring and diagnostic tools
