Job Overview
The IT Project Coordinator role represents the pinnacle of MHD support. As the ultimate escalation point for operations, this role is one of an expert IT Professional. To be successful in this role, the
IT Project Coordinator resolves difficult problems in a timely and efficient manner, communicates appropriately with clients and team members, manages project timelines, resources and budgets,
and assists the Technicians in their quest to increase knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities and Duties
Devises and works with Leadership to establish policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
Maintain communication with entire IT Project Team, IT Triage Dispatch, the Client Relations Manager and COO.
Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after each assigned project.
Set meetings, timelines and schedules to reflect the successful deployments set forth on the Project Board as well as on Engineering Service Boards.
Ability to collaborate with other colleagues & departments.
Determine and define project scope and objectives.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Day to day project oversight.
Participate in logistics planning for personnel and equipment, including monitoring the procurement of materials for timely installation and travel coordination for out-of-town projects.
Ability to read floor plans, circuit schematics, and manufacturer’s technical instructions.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Track project costs to meet budget.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Identifies the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems for MHD Communications internal usage.
Provides guidance for team. Sets, monitors and facilitates goals. Reinforces company values, culture and goals.
Assist in hiring process for IT Team: Review resumes, conduct interviews and make request to HR to follow through on department decisions, as needed.
Assist in company scalability and metric analysis.
Works with COO to address and document employee issues.
Continue to learn new systems, technologies, and/or procedures in order to grow in the role, or beyond the role.
Qualifications
This role requires 3 years of IT support experience (some MSP experience preferred) with significant emphasis on engineering work.
Technical skills include intermediate administrative and technical knowledge of wired and wireless Ethernet networks; comprehensive knowledge of systems and networking hardware and
their administration; ability to create written instructions (SOPs) and other technical documentation; understanding of workstations, printers, servers, and VOIP systems; and expert
knowledge of different WAN technologies.
An IT Project Coordinator is a good communicator (both written and oral), is a critical thinker, is detail-oriented, is eager to learn as well as to teach, and is able to envision the entire
picture of networked environment and its components.
Certifications are encouraged, but not required (depending on experience).
