At MHI, our Installation Manager oversees a team of On-site Project Managers who are responsible for managing a successful roofing project that is completed timely and to the homeowner’s full satisfaction. The Installation Manager is responsible for completing work orders and purchase orders for all crews and materials needed for each project, assigning crews and Project Managers to each project, and auditing and quality checking each project to ensure that all required steps are completed, homeowners are 100% happy, crews are assigned and paid properly, and that materials and supplies are properly accounted for.

The Installation Manager is also responsible for managing our Pittsburgh and West Virginia warehouses, including the ins and outs of all materials used, bulk purchasing, warehouse organization and efficiencies, material returns, and audits, physical inventories, and cycle counts.

This is a 100% onsite position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Our Installation Manager has the ultimate responsibility for the timely, accurate, professional, and cost-effective completion of all of our roofing projects.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise Project Managers and multiple projects daily from start to finish
• Work harmoniously with Sales Managers and Production Administrators to meet
• customer needs
• Identify and mitigate risks to projects, proactively managing and escalating as required
• Oversee and manage crew leaders and repair technicians to ensure projects are
• completed timely
• Perform install and post-install inspections to uphold company processes and standards
• Complete ridealongs with Project Managers for observation, coaching, and development purposes
• Complete scheduled and unscheduled project visits and audits
• Work closely with homeowners throughout their project to provide excellent customer
• Service, resolving any issues that may arise
• Manage PA and WV warehouses and inventory
• Complete bulk purchases
• Manage supplier relationships
• Review and approve payroll and time off requests for hourly employees

YOUR BACKGROUND/REQUIRED SKILLS

Essential Qualities:

• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively with a high sense of urgency, ensuring that projects are completed fully, timely, and accurately
• Ability to manage teams remotely in the field
• Positive thinker with a “get-it-done” attitude
• Ability to problem-solve and confidently resolve issues while also able to recognize when and how to escalate issues to Management
• Enthusiastic, hard-working, well organized team player
• Ability to consistently follow tasks through completion
• Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service that turns customers are raving fans
• Able to adapt to and embrace change and shift priorities in response to daily project needs
• Customer Service experience preferred
• Experience in a skilled trade preferred
• Good driving record

COMPENSATION: $70,000-75,000 base salary bonus
