Together, we emphasize improving the integration of process and technology across the product lifecycle throughout the entire value chain, creating seamless workflows that enable meaningful collaboration and success for each engineer and downstream process.
As a (Senior) Consultant in our Digital Core & Technology team at MHP, you will play a crucial role in advising and guiding our US clients in strategic decision-making along their value chain. You will need a deep understanding of the industry challenges and trends, technology solutions, and the ability to develop transformative strategy. To accomplish this, you will define processes, methods, tools, and organizational structures to competently guide our customers through the strategic, organizational, and functional issues which enable them to shape a better tomorrow. You will have the chance to help our customers to discover their real needs, problems, and challenges and will support them with perfectly suited solutions. We always meet our customer where they are.
You will be an integral member of the team, executing exciting projects and acting as a trusted advisor to our automotive and manufacturing customers, while further developing the management consulting practice within our DC&T team.
The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and proven experience in developing complex systems, as well as an end-to-end understanding of an organization’s value-chain, critical business drivers, and the dependencies between the processes from customer needs to requirements to end of life. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. With this in mind, you will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, support the development of new business opportunities, and support the continuous adjustment of our current and future offerings according to market demands.
Responsibilities
- Management consulting : The candidate will evaluate the existing product and technology portfolios and derive strategic action areas and implementation roadmaps with a holistic system thinking approach.
- Multidisciplinary collaboration : The candidate has the ability to work with people from diverse professional backgrounds (incl. engineering, IT, product development, management, finance, etc.), facilitate productive workshops, and build / maintain relationships.
- Process optimization : The candidate will evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, cost savings, and future scalability.
- Technology integration : The candidate is knowledgeable about cutting edge technologies in mobility, automotive or manufacturing (e.g., Autonomous Driving, Electrical Vehicles, Robotics, etc) with the ability to find suitable use cases for each client.
- Business development : You will support the business development activities in the DC&T team with new and existing clients by providing your subject-matter expertise and by proposing new management consulting solutions for our clients.
- Thought leadership : You will act as thought leader within the areas of mobility, automotive or manufacturing and seek out ways to shape the future of your passions.

The salary range for this role is $95,000-$115,000. However, it is important to note that at MHP, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
