Position Overview:

In this role, you will conduct inspection of final assemblies and incoming components. All Mi-Jack products are made in America with ISO 9001: 2015 certified Quality Management Systems,  ensuring that they meet or exceed industry standards. You will transform challenges into opportunities! 

Essential Functions: 

  • Inspection of all final assemblies, incoming parts from outside suppliers, and nonconforming products.
  • Provides technical support for production.
  • Performs 1st article inspections and vendor audits.
  • Active participant in safety programs to promote a goal of zero injuries and incidents.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all company policies to eliminate and/ or reduce exposure to liability.

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries
  • Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (both internal and external)
  • Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability
  • Special projects or work as assigned

What we are looking for: 

  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with others.
  • Requires knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; requires an eye for detail.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and work rules/ procedures.

 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Verifiable experience with reading and interpreting blueprint drawings.
  • Experience using various measuring devices.

 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • 2 year certificate/ degree.
  • 3 years of verifiable inspection experience.

 

Work Environment: 

  • This is a production classification and employees work in a factory or warehouse environment with exposure to noise and machinery. The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/ cold, wet/ humid, and dry/ arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.

 

Physical Demands: 

  • Accurate hand/ eye coordination is required.
  • Finger dexterity as well as hand strength with ability to grasp, lift, push and pull required.
  • Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting, and kneeling for long periods of time.

Compensation/Benefits:

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
