Job Overview:
Safe Tire & Auto LLC is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrator to support payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry, payroll, and accounting skills who can efficiently manage HR tasks and maintain accuracy in employee records. Experience with iSolved is not required, as it is an easy-to-use platform.
This part-time position (15 hours/week) has the potential to expand into a full-time role with additional responsibilities in recruiting and talent acquisition for Safe Tire & Auto LLC.
Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Compensation:
- Pull any missing payroll reports for accurate processing.
- Enter employee hours into the payroll spreadsheet.
- Record technician sales and ensure proper documentation.
- Input bonuses for the 6th-day pay structure.
- Determine which income is greater (hourly vs. commission) for eligible employees.
- Enter employee information from Excel into iSolved.
- Notify store locations if labor percentages exceed 30%.
Benefits & Employee Administration:
- Reconcile benefits and process EDI feeds for new hires and terminations.
- Maintain and update HSA contributions for eligible employees.
- Add eligible employees to 1800MD and remove terminated employees as needed.
Accounting & Record-Keeping:
- Enter invoices into QuickBooks, ensuring proper employee and location tagging.
Potential Full-Time Expansion: Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate hiring and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates and hiring managers.
- Track recruitment metrics and support staffing needs across locations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in payroll processing and commission-based pay structures.
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks for data entry and reconciliation.
- Ability to handle benefit administration and employee records.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work independently.
- Interest in recruiting and potential for a full-time HR role.
- Willingness to learn and utilize iSolved (no prior experience required).
