Mi Midas is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a key link between our customers and service technicians, the Service Writer plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, accurate documentation, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Accurately document customer concerns and translate them into detailed repair orders for technicians.
- Provide clear and transparent estimates, explain recommended services, and obtain customer authorization.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely service completion.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding service progress, additional repairs, and estimated completion times.
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Uphold Mi Midas' commitment to customer satisfaction by delivering an outstanding service experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in a similar customer-facing automotive role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive services and repairs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with service writing software and computer systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or business education is a plus.
