Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Summary: The MRI Technologist Team Lead is essential for delivering high-quality diagnostic MRI scans and guiding a team of technologists. This role combines mentorship with hands-on responsibilities, empowering the team to provide exceptional patient care while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. Schedule | Hours: 40 hours per week Day shift, 8-hour shifts May require some night, weekend or on-call coverage What the MRI Technologist Team Lead will Do: Perform a variety of MRI examinations and Administer contrast and barium. Coordinate daily operations, manage staff scheduling, and oversee workflow within the MRI unit. Participate in the hiring process and contribute to performance evaluations. Engage in ongoing quality monitoring, data collection, and compliance with accreditation standards. Collaborate with Clinical Engineering to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations. Assess educational needs of staff and facilitate training programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI safety concepts and advancements in technology. Serve as a consultant for leadership, staff, and healthcare team members on MRI-related issues. Contribute to budget development and monitor departmental supplies and services. What the MRI Technologist Team Lead will Need: Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology Program, or an MRI-specific curriculum Currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI certification Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Certification or re-certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire 3 or more years' experience as a staff technologist in specific imaging modality Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Preferred: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Radiology imaging modality Preferred: Ability to interpret and monitor EKG tracings Highlights: Day 1 benefits, no waiting period Comprehensive benefit packages available including medical, dental, vision, Paid time off 403B Retirement Colleague Referral Program to earn cash and prizes.
