Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Job Description Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Mission, Vision, Values and Guiding Behaviors of Trinity Health and Trinity Senior Living Communities in behaviors, practices, and decisions. 1. Consistently demonstrate (leads by example) Sanctuary Values to all internal and external customers (residents, visitors, volunteers, and associates.) Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, propagating a calm environment throughout the community. 2. Execute assignments in a culture that is shared and collaborative across all divisions within TSLC. 3. Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures. 4. Install shelving, makes adjustments and repairs on cabinets, repair and install cove base and handrails. 5. Mount pictures, bulletin boards, perform curtain rod and cubicle track repairs, install, repair and/or replace floor tile. 6. Perform repairs on community equipment and minor kitchen equipment and HVAC. 7. Repair drains utilizing enzymes and electric equipment including auger and air operated clog remover. Repair faucets and other plumbing fixtures. 8. Patches and repairs roofs. 9. Painting and refinish of furniture and fixtures as assigned. 10. Floor Care including stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting, etc., daily. 11. Calibrate thermostats and other minor pneumatic equipment and repairs. 12. Repair and replace single-phase motors up to 120 volts. Repair and replace 120-volt switches ad receptacles. 13. Operates and tests generator and performs preventive maintenance as assigned. 14. As assigned assures the grounds, community equipment is maintained in a clean, safe manner. 15. May be asked to transport residents in a company vehicle to and from appointments, shopping, etc. 16. Perform routine servicing of grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., including sidewalk snow removal; salting; removal of debris; and keeping walkway and entrances clean and orderly as assigned. 17. Follow established safety precautions, including fire safety, when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies. Ensure assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, sanitary and attractive manner.
