Corporate Hotel Controller

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, accounting principles, and reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS. This role is crucial in guiding the financial strategy of the organization and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making.

Duties

• Manage all accounting operations, including account reconciliation and account analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other relevant regulations.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data through regular audits and compliance checks.
• Utilize financial software such as Xero and Sage for efficient reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial concepts that drive business performance.
• Lead the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance team to foster professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role with a strong background in accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software (Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear report writing and presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
