Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial in guiding the financial strategy of the organization and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making.
Duties
- Manage all accounting operations, including account reconciliation and account analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data through regular audits and compliance checks.
- Utilize financial software such as Xero and Sage for efficient reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial concepts that drive business performance.
- Lead the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance team to foster professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role with a strong background in accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial software (Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear report writing and presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
