Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Planner at Miami-Dade County DTPW located in Miami, FL, with some flexibility for remote work. The Senior Planner will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing transportation plans and projects, analyzing data, conducting research, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve transportation systems and services.
This position will prepare long range and short-range transit and multimodal planning documents, review new development plans to review impacts on transportation systems, participate in multimodal transit reviews and initiatives, serve as project lead and/or collaborator on transit studies and other studies to support the Department’s mission. Preferred knowledge of transportation planning principles, geographical information systems (GIS) and other analytical planning and land use tools.
Qualifications
