Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. One year of verifiable experience in a lab that conducts criminal investigations is required. Additional experience in a lab that conduct criminal investigations, or operating digital forensic software, hardware and tools to enhance investigations may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.

This is skilled work in the maintenance, inventory and safeguarding of weaponry for the Public Safety Department. Employees in this class are responsible for all issued revolvers, shotguns, rifles and automatic weapons. Work involves all necessary repairs, replacement of parts, modifications, refinishing and routine maintenance of all weaponry. Instructions relating to work assignments may be oral or in writing. Supervision is received from a superior who reviews work by the satisfactory performance and working condition of all weaponry maintained or repaired.
