What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Marketing Coordinator position at Miami HEAT?
The Miami HEAT Marketing team is seeking a Retail Marketing Coordinator! This role requires you to be business minded, tech savvy and conceptually creative – with a passion for all things retail. The position is highly collaborative and will involve working with many other departments, including marketing, creative, digital and retail.
Roles & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Run and build content for our Court Culture social media accounts, including Instagram, Twitter and TikTok
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate retail initiatives and promotions through
- Content Planning
- Organization and distribution
- Reporting and analytics
- Serve as liaison with cross functional partners acting as a project manager to test, evaluate, prioritize, lead and implement digital retail initiatives
- Work closely with our Creative team to request and distribute promotional assets across all retail channels
- Work with digital channel owners to implement tracking of marketing efforts and report results to the Retail Marketing team
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, supporting the overall retail strategy
- Develop strategies to increase total retail revenue
- Assist the Retail Marketing Manager with all photo/video shoots
- Prepare for all photo/video shoots by crafting a timeline and styling sheet, while handling our talent before/after shoot day
- Assist our Retail Marketing Manager with in-store merchandising for all Miami HEAT Store locations, including placement of top brands and new collections
- Explore new ways to increase the Court Culture/general retail revenue by searching for local license opportunities
- Stay up to date with trends and technology that can improve our overall retail footprint
- Build player merchandise bags and fulfil all product requests coming from Basketball Operations

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a 4-year college or technical school; Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- 1-2 years of experience in the retail marketing space
- Expertise on retail trends and methodologies
- Experience with project management
- Strong business judgment and decision making skills
- Outstanding analytical skills, experience interpreting results and drawing conclusions
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Self-starter, proactive, and comfortable multi-tasking
- Team player, innovative and creative

Salary : $45,300 - $57,400
