Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Summary
Provides routine and repetitive patient care activities to patients and residents. Maintains standards of nursing care, under the supervision of licensed Nursing personnel, in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Nursing Department, Miami Jewish Health Systems and regulatory agencies.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides basic care to patients under the supervision of a nurse
- Performs activities of daily living and maintains a comfortable environment
- Transports residents, supplies, equipment, etc. between the nursing unit and other departments or discharge
- Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit
- Organizes, cleans, and maintains the patient / resident units
- Ensures that resident's / patient's rights are adhered to
- Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines
- Perform clerical functions for the nursing unit
- Performs related duties as required
