Position: System Continuing Medical Education Program Manager
Department: Continuing Medical Education
Shift: 7:30AM-4PM
Status: Full-time/ 80 hours per pay period
Facility: Miami Valley Hospital
The System Continuing Medical Education Program Manager oversees and enhances the Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education (CE) programs across Premier Health, working in close collaboration with Wright State University (WSU), the accredited CME provider. The Program Manager for CME is responsible for all relevant functions necessary to plan and implement each CME activity that are in adherence with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and Joint Accreditation standards. Responsibilities includes the identification of educational gaps, deployment of appropriate marketing and educational methods, and event planning support.
This position also focuses on customer relations, demonstrates sound judgement, and decision-making abilities that involve review and consideration of education related to evidenced based education for healthcare providers.

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience Preferred experience: Candidate should have understanding of continuing medical education accreditation and the adult learning process, working with administrators, hospital staff, physicians and/or other professionals in the coordination or administration of projects, or training or educational role in the healthcare environment, CME management platformKnowledge/Skills
