We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Farmer to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and/or interest for farming. This role involves utilizing very high-tech tractors and farming equipment working with a team to facilitate farm operations, cultivating crops, ensuring the highest standards of quality and productivity. The Farmer will play a crucial role in maintaining the health of the farm and contributing to sustainable agricultural practices.
Duties
- Operate and maintain high-tech farm machinery, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Cultivate and grow various crops, utilizing effective planting and harvesting techniques.
- Perform routine equipment repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of crops and livestock to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Utilize math skills for measuring land areas, and managing inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving farm productivity and sustainability.
Skills
- Proficient in operating farm machinery with a strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues - nice to have.
- Basic math skills for effective measurement and calculations related to farming operations.
- Ability to operate machinery safely as needed on the farm.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to equipment repair and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.61 - $26.03 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 100 per week
