Qualifications

§ 5 years of management experience to include casino and gas station operation.

§ 4-year degree in Business Administration

§ Proven Gaming Management experience including a thorough knowledge of Hospitality, Class II Gaming, gas station regulations.

§ Thorough knowledge of Slot and Cage Operations and equipment.

§ Thorough knowledge of Casino Management Systems, such as Aristocrat, Scientific Gaming, Konami, or IGT.

§ Thorough knowledge of Title 31, CTRC and SAR regulations.

§ Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows 10

§ Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays

§ Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines

§ Must be able to frequently move freely about the property, maintain manual dexterity to operate job related equipment, such as telephones, copiers, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction

§ Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke

§ Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned

§ Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives

§ Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner

§ Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness

§ Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods

Responsibilities

LTC Casino Manager has total responsibility for the operating unit, works closely with the management team to ensure maximum profitability while staying within the budget; overall responsibility for strategic planning and market strategy for the casino. oversees all areas of the operation in the gaming floor, food and beverage outlets, and gas station. LTC casino manager is responsible for leading the corporate culture and for supervising and motivating the management team. primary duties will include ensuring the gaming facility and all of its employees comply with national gaming Indian commission policies and procedures and ensuring the facility earns a profit. the LTC casino manager will also have the duty of hiring, training, firing and overseeing supervisors and non-management employees. the LTC casino manager will ensure all legal requirements for the operation are met and internal controls maintained. LTC casino manager will also have the responsibility of shift managers’ schedules.
Responsible for public relations: customer complaints and suggestions, the expulsion of troublesome customers, and explain rules and policies, and monitor activities on the Gaming Facility floor.

§ Provide visible leadership to management and employees while generating a facility atmosphere focused on great hospitality.

§ Develop an atmosphere conducive to receiving feedback from team members and customers: coach, discipline, and/or terminate according to company policy.

§ Recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality employees according to company guidelines

§ Respond to customer concerns, written and verbal, creatively solve problems and develop robust solutions.

§ Responsible for maximizing store sales, gasoline volume, and casino performance.

§ Monitor retail gasoline prices to stay on strategy.

§ Ensure product mix and inventory levels are properly maintained to increase sales volume and control inventory.

§ Report monthly financial statements and submit a prioritized capital outlay budget with justification for approval by the Miccosukee Business Council.

§ Responsible for doing what is necessary to minimize the safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers. Assure that all site employees are adequately trained on safety policies and procedures and maintains adequate controls to verify compliance.

§ Assure all environmental and hazardous material regulations are strictly enforced.

§ Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures.

§ Ensure policies and procedures are followed to achieve profit objectives by assuming responsibility for business operations, and profit and losses of all departments; evaluate operating procedures, recommend changes, and implement approved changes.

§ Maintain confidentiality of pertinent casino data.

§ Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

The Casino & Gas Station will function seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We may find it necessary to re-schedule shifts according to our business volume. You must be willing and available to fulfill these demands

While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise.
