Michael Graves is looking for a creative, talented, and team-oriented Project Architect to join our dynamic internationally acclaimed team. Ideal candidates should be passionate about design, work well in a collaborative team environment, and communicate ideas and approach in a clear and thoughtful manner. We are looking to fill positions in our Knoxville location
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch., M. Arch) required
- Five or more years of professional experience
- Registered Architect / Nearing completion of AREs
- Strong Leadership skills with ability to manage project team and workplan
- Experience in hospitality, multifamily, or education are a plus
- Ability to manage all phases of a project from concept design through to construction
- Strong capabilities in complex detailing of architectural projects
- Demonstrated experience with organizing and producing project documentation
- Construction Administration experience
- Knowledge of building codes and systems
- Ability to detail exterior and interior wall systems
- Knowledge of construction and construction technology
- Fluency in Revit required
- Proficiency in all design phases (SD, DD, CD) and design and construction document coordination
- Management of project consultants
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA with no further sponsorship needed
