Job Description
- Review and approve work performed by the Payroll Managers and Supervisors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor processes to ensure consistent high quality and efficiency of the payroll processes.
- Handle payroll related queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy.
- Provide training and support to payroll staff.
- Collaborate closely with different offices and teams.
- Manage a high degree of change in a fast-paced, complex, and demanding environment.
- Manage a team.
- Develop a close working partnership with Labor Relations and Business units on all union payroll matters.
- Keep abreast of legislative updates that affect payroll / tax regulatory compliance and provide training to staff.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- 6 years of payroll experience.
- Experience processing payroll for 1500 employees.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
- ADP and Workday experience.
- Must have accounting experience.
- People management experience.
