Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Assisting in all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinating with various parties to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports
- Conducting site visits to monitor work progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any on-site issues
- Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address concerns
- Assisting in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources
- Supporting in negotiating contracts and change orders
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications
Profile
The right Project Manager has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in project management role with GC
- Commercial project background
- Mill Experience (conversions) is a plus
- Well-rounded project portfolio
- Proven track record of managing projects $5M
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Procore & Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
