Description
- Lead and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with operations to analyze cost structures, inventory accounting, and financial performance metrics.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts, providing strategic insights to senior management.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements and financial system enhancements to drive efficiency.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the accounting team.
Profile
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm preferred).
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software; strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership.
