The Controls Engineer is responsible for overseeing the testing, installation, and servicing of all robots and automation equipment. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager and may require travel to customer sites for automation system installations as needed (10-20%) Client Details My client specializes in providing advanced injection molding machines and automation solutions for a wide range of industries. Description In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for : Overseeing the testing, installation, and servicing of custom injection molding machinery and automation systems. Collaborating with customers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of specialized equipment. Conducting on-site inspections and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently. Developing and executing test plans to verify equipment functionality and adherence to specifications. Providing technical training and support to customers for proper operation and maintenance of machinery. Traveling to customer locations as needed (10-20%) to perform installations and address technical concerns. Reporting progress, challenges, and recommendations directly to the Engineering Manager. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance equipment performance and service offerings.
