Our Client is seeking an experienced Development Manager (Renewables) to lead the full lifecycle development of utility-scale solar and storage projects. This individual will play a critical role in the company's project pipeline, working on early- to mid-stage projects in MISO and SERC.

Description
The Development Manager (Renewables) will be responsible for
- Lead the full development cycle of utility-scale solar and storage projects, including greenfield development, interconnection, permitting, land acquisition, and financing.
- Work closely with internal SMEs to navigate the interconnection process and evaluate M&A opportunities.
- Oversee projects in various stages, including projects with completed interconnection studies, greenfield developments, and submissions into the interconnection queue.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, regulators, utilities, and local communities.
- Provide strategic guidance on project feasibility, risk assessment, and site selection.
- Support financial modeling and coordinate with construction teams to ensure smooth transition from development to execution.
- Drive projects to Final Investment Decision (FID) and assist in securing financing.
- Ensure projects meet regulatory compliance and permitting requirements.
Profile
The successful Development Manager (Renewables) will have
- 5 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy project development.
- Proven track record of leading projects through full development cycles, from origination to construction and COD.
- Experience in MISO or SERC markets.
- Strong understanding of the interconnection process and ability to work with technical teams on interconnection studies.
- Experience with project financing, FID, and working with construction teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving them toward key milestones.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Self-starter who can hit the ground running and operate independently in a remote environment.
Job Offer
The Development Manager (Renewables) will be eligible for
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
