Description
- Dispatch union employees to job sites based on seniority, skill level, and contractual rules.
- Coordinate daily workforce assignments to maximize efficiency and meet operational needs.
- Manage and maintain scheduling, ensuring labor is properly allocated while controlling costs.
- Work closely with warehouse operations to align dispatching with inventory and logistics.
- Handle and balance multiple personalities, ensuring smooth communication and conflict resolution.
- Oversee and assist in enforcing safety protocols across operations.
- Adapt quickly to changing schedules, job site needs, and operational challenges.
Profile
- Proven experience in dispatching within a union environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Background in warehouse operations, furniture manufacturing, or commercial move management is a plus.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
