Description
The Estimator - Grocery, Retail, and Self-Storage - Richmond, VA will be responsible for:
- Create comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects.
- Oversee the bidding process, involving subcontractor and supplier coordination.
- Work closely with the preconstruction team, including the VP of Preconstruction and estimators, to craft competitive
- proposals.
- Monitor project expenses and keep detailed records.
- Occasionally attend client meetings to build relationships and assist in project planning
Profile
The Estimator - Grocery, Retail, and Self-Storage - Richmond, VA will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects.
- Preferred experience in sectors such as self-storage, retail, grocery, or other commercial areas.
- Proficient in construction management software like Procore and Sage 300.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
