Description
- Overseeing the estimation process for a variety of industrial projects
- Collaborating with project managers and other team members to establish project timelines and budgets
- Analyzing blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
- Evaluating subcontractor bids to ensure reasonable cost and alignment with project goals
- Maintaining records of estimated and actual costs on a project-by-project basis
- Conducting risk analysis for potential projects
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and clients during the estimation process
- Continuously improving estimation procedures and protocols to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Profile
- An academic background in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the Industrial Construction sector
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong understanding of construction processes and industry trends
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as estimating and project management tools
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
