Main Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support to the Global Markets Prime Services businesses, specifically focusing on equity derivatives, synthetic prime brokerage and ISDA/MCA documentation
- Work closely with the ISDA documentation team to draft and negotiate ISDA agreements, Master Confirmation Agreements, custody agreements, total return swaps, etc.
- Stay abreast of and advise on relevant regulations and regulatory framework
- Work closely with other members of the legal team on ad-hoc projects
- Work closely with and aid in the management of outside counsel
Profile
- JD from US ABA accredited law school
- 2 years of experience ideally gained in-house supporting the prime services/equity derivatives desk of an investment bank, with prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm highly preferred
- US State Bar Admission
- Direct experience with equity derivatives and synthetic prime brokerage services, including negotiation of Master Confirmation Agreements
- Experience drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of equity derivatives matters
- Strong understanding of ISDA framework
- Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
- Ability to simplify legal advice for multiple stakeholders within a fast paced business
Job Offer
