Job Description
- Analyze and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and implement best practices for CNC machine setup, programming, and operation, ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop and improve tooling and fixtures for CNC machining operations.
- Ensure that tooling and fixtures are designed to meet tight tolerances required for medical device components.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct process validation and verification to ensure that manufacturing processes produce components that meet quality standards.
The Successful Applicant
- 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- A background with exposure to precision machining operations.
- Experience creating SOPs, BOMs, and additional engineering documentation.
- Exposure to secondary manufacturing processes (polishing, deburring, heat treating, anodizing).
