Our client, a well-established commercial construction firm, is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) operations across their diverse portfolio of projects specializing in data centers.

Our client was founded over 30 years ago as a drywall contractor in Baltimore, MD. After years of gaining a reputation built around excellence and superior service, they expanded their company to include real estate development, general contracting, and construction management. Their projects consist of apartment buildings, entertainment facilities, data centers, and more ranging from $5M to $100M . They are currently looking to grow their team by bringing on an experienced MEP Manager. This person will start on a large-scale data center project in Northern VA.
Description
The MEP Manager - Data Center Project - Northern VA will be responsible for:
- Manage MEP Systems: Oversee all MEP-related work for data center projects, ensuring systems are installed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate MEP contractors and engineers, ensuring smooth project execution and communication.
- Design and Technical Review: Review MEP designs, suggest improvements, and ensure compliance with data center standards.
- Quality Control and Commissioning: Ensure all MEP systems are properly installed and tested, and that everything works as required before project handover.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Profile
The MEP Manager - Data Center Project - Northern VA will have:
- 5-10 years of MEP management experience, preferably on data center projects
- a bachelor's degree in engineering or similar preferred
- strong technical skills and knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
- experience using construction project management software such as Procore
- strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
