Description
- Accurately process payroll using UKG
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state payroll requirements
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through data collection and analysis
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title or department/division transfers
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Stay updated on new legislation, policies, and procedures affecting payroll

Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- 3-5 years of experience in managing payroll processes
- Strong UKG or Ultipro skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information
